Bathroom refits and layout changes.
We take enquiries for full bathroom refits and bath-to-shower changes. Before buying a suite, check the waste routes, water supply, fixture clearances and ventilation. A fitting can fit the floor plan but still need changes behind the walls.

Work within a bathroom refit
- Removal of existing fittings
- Bath, shower, basin and toilet installation
- Agreed pipework and layout alterations
- Surface preparation, tiling, finishing and electrical coordination
Check what sits behind the tiles
The condition of walls and floors may only become visible during strip-out. Ask how damaged surfaces, preparation of shower and bath areas and waterproofing will be specified and priced. Agree how additional repairs are approved before new finishes conceal them.
What can change the price?
Drainage routes
Moving a toilet or shower depends on where its waste can run and the access available.
Fixture compatibility
The shower, taps and other fittings need to suit the water supply and manufacturer’s installation requirements.
Preparation and finish
Tile coverage, wall repairs, trims, sealing and decoration should be itemised rather than described only as a bathroom refit.
Questions about this work
Can I replace a bath with a walk-in shower?
The tray or floor detail, waste route, screen clearance and water supply need checking first. A photograph and room dimensions help the initial assessment.
Does tiling include waterproofing?
Ask for both the surface preparation and waterproofing specification. A description of the tiles alone does not establish how the shower or bath area will be constructed.
What about electrics near the shower or bath?
Have the electrician assess the proposed fittings and their positions. Changes near a bath or shower may need building regulations approval; confirm the compliance route before work starts.
